Oregon

Came to work on a farm in Selma Oregon a small farming town. Out of retirement for farm work? Yup crazy.

Well anyway my soon to be Son in Law Jeff and my daughter Vanessa rented a beautiful house in the little artsy town of Shakespearean culture called Ashland. What a great town this is. Especially if you come and join me in my favorite pub Smithfields Pub and Pies on Second St. The owner Neil is a Brit too and a great guy.

On the way to the farm which is 60 miles each way each day, I often see beautiful rainbows

Beers of Oregon

There is a Brewery in Hood River, Oregon that makes simply the best pilsner I have ever tasted. It's probably the finest refreshment I've ever had. Believe me that is saying something for an Englishman drinking for nigh on 52 years now. I drink this nectar at Smithfields Pub and Pies in Ashland Or. Neil, the owner, has a barrel on hand most of the time for yours truly. If pFriem is not on tap for whatever reason then it is substituted with some other devine local brewed nectar. No matter what it is, if it's from Oregon, it will be outstanding.
